Uganda fruit basket

These handcrafted baskets are truly a piece of art with each one taking several days to make.
They are expertly woven by hand by skilled women in Uganda. Crafted from: Banana leaf, papyrus, raffia palm, dye.

The women grow their and extract the fibers, then hand-dye and begin weaving from the middle of the basket, carefully threading the sisal around and around to create these beautiful works of art.

Use: They are just the right size for a centerpiece, fruit bowl, wall hanging(has a small loop at the back), hold jewelry or display on a shelf or dressing table. This basket is a gorgeous addition to any space

Cleaning
Made of natural fibers and grass;
do not submerge or wash with water.
If necessary, use a damp cloth to wipe the basket clean.
